Have you ever noticed when things are running smoothly in your world, out of nowhere, something unexpected and unwanted happens? I believe we all have seasons of life when everything is going our way and then seasons of life when everything just seems to be falling apart.
Sadly, Satan knows our weaknesses and he is waiting for the perfect opportunity ( when we put our guard down) to come out of nowhere and do everything in his power to destroy us down to our very foundation. I mean kick us when we are down!
Well, there is good news. God also knows our weaknesses; therefore, He tells us in His word that He will not allow us to be tempted beyond what we can bear. And when we are tempted, He will also provide a way out. 1 Corinthians 10:13
The problem is we ENJOY our weaknesses SO we also enjoy playing with fire as we keep pushing the limit and say to ourselves, “Oh, I can handle this and besides it makes me feel good.” Satan begins to whisper and remind us of how “good” our weakness makes us feel so many times we simply FALL.
God also knows our strengths and when we have fallen into our weakness, His power is made strong ( perfect) in our weakness….. we are fully dependent on Him and He delivers.
Then He uses our strengths to create the most beautiful masterpiece ( a life with a purpose).
And when you come to Him and ask, “Will you give me a second chance?” He whispers,
“Come for I will give you another chance”….
He is not counting our mistakes in a way to make us feel defeated and He knows we are going to fail Him again and again, but remember the most powerful testimonies are the ones that proved God used our weaknesses AND our strengths to create His masterpiece- YOU!
