Sadly, the only way I knew some people would even take the time to read my blog today was to have the word “sex” in the title. Oh how sad, but oh so true!
We feed our minds on latest sex scandals and the filthier the better. The more lies the better. We pass judgments on people in the blink of an eye, yet we watch someone walk by and have such lust in our hearts too. We are so judgmental and so quick to act on it! Move over and let me on the bandwagon too, we think to ourselves.
In my devotion time this morning at 5:30 am, I just sat and sobbed! I just couldn’t contain my hurt heart for what America is showing the world we stand for or not stand for. We are no longer an America that could be a role model for anyone.
And the sad reality, people who want to destroy our country are sitting around a table plotting the next bigger terror attack and laughing and saying, “Gosh this is going to be easier than we ever thought.”
If you believe in the power of prayer the way I do, then keep praying and wait in anticipation for God to act! He will in his time!
As I was crying and pouring my heart out to the Lord, I began visualizing in my mind several men and women sitting around a table eating food and bragging on selling baby parts with no regard for human life. It just kept playing over and over. The video I saw from years ago just kept playing.
Then I began to visualize a young lady, around 15 to 20 years of age as she walked up to me and said, “Thank you for saving my life!” I was confused because I had no idea what she meant. She reminded me of my vote in 2016 that in turn placed Supreme Court Justices that valued the sanctity of human life.
I hurt for the Republican nominee as his family and his reputation is now tarnished and maybe even torn apart. I heart for the Democratic nominee who has been able to stand by her spouse no matter what as he flaunts his “predator of sex” ways right in front of her. BUT, then I look at the Vice President candidates, one who is a devout Christian, and I see a glimmer of hope for a better future.
There are so many examples in the Bible when God finally said ENOUGH! He has struck people dead! If this evil continues, He will have enough and He will act so keep praying.
On November 9th, God is still in control and we will all feel unsettled in our minds and hearts because this was the best we offered our America in this election. We will not feel good, either way.
No wonder none of the truly great candidates even want to run anymore, would you? Your life will be destroyed in the public eye.
But please, go out and vote. And before you decide to write another candidate not even running in the blank to somehow show “I will show them”- think about an unborn life and how people can sit and EAT and laugh about selling baby parts as if it is just another ordinary conversation.
I am grateful that I had this vision this morning as I tune out the sex scandals and filth and lies and everything else that brings me down and instead focus my eyes on the One who is in complete control….I am on the winning side ’cause I am on the side of Jesus! no matter who wins this election.
