Hug a little tighter…

Children with autism just seem to hug a little longer and a little tighter because they are not insecure about what other people may say about them…

Children with autism just seem to have the most sincere and authentic smile because the smile inside their heart illuminates on their faces…

Children with autism will voice honest words that we all need to hear from time to time, but others are too afraid to say…

Children with autism will give generously of themselves and the things they own because materialism is not an adjective that describes their lives…

Children with autism will accept people exactly the way they are and see them the way Jesus sees them because judging others does not come naturally for them…

Children with autism naturally practice self-control because they do not boast about things in their life because they do not have anyone they need to impress…

WOW! In my own life, every quality that comes naturally for my son with autism, I have a disability in.  No wonder we are surrounded by so much stress because we are constantly fighting the enemy to become more Christ like- more child with autism like.

Are you having a tough day with your child diagnosed with autism?  Then focus on all they want to teach you and constantly whisper in their precious ears, “I am so proud of you.  I want to be more like you.”  Your words have power in them!

I see more of Jesus in children with special needs and feel so blessed that Jesus allows me to daily have a special needs child call me, “MOM”b63f911083790734d9168aa425c1787c
